Norway Chess Open 2026
Norway Chess moves to Oslo, and so does the Open tournament.
In collaboration with The Good Knight, the first chess bar in the world, the Open Tournaments and the side events will be held at this fine establishment.
This year, the Open will not be one, but two standard-rated tournaments with 7 rounds played over 7 days.
There will be no double rounds, and all games will be played during the daytime, allowing players to visit the main Norway Chess Tournament or take part in the evening side events at The Good Knight — or both!
